The original Bachelor lovebirds, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich have fallen in love with Rottnest Island. They visited in early 2019 and enjoyed it so much, they couldn’t wait to plan a return trip!
“Anna and I came a few months ago and loved it so much, we had to come back with the fam for Easter,” Tim said.
Another love for the couple, is one of seafood. And so they couldn’t wait to try their hand at catching lobsters on our Wild Seafood Experience.
With Anna’s sister, Andrea Heinrich and her partner Tynan Diaz accompanying, they pulled up lobster pots and caught some enormous Western Rock Lobster, then dined on four courses of fresh seafood, including their lobster catch barbecued on board.
While we moored in Parakeet Bay, the ladies relaxed on board, sipping on Howard Park wines and enjoying canapes, while Tim and Tynan swam off the boat.
The four indulged on a seafood banquet of Mandurah Blue Swimmer crabs, sashimi salmon, freshly-shucked oysters, fish tacos, West Australian king prawns and marinated West Coast octopus, with fresh side salads. Their massive lobster catch was the centrepiece of the feast, which they enjoyed straight from the ocean, to the barbecue, to their plates.
After the cruise, the group went bike riding for some Rottnest sightseeing to capture some quokka selfies Island, then visited Pinky’s Beach Club for afternoon drinks at the new Discovery Rottnest Island.
